The Tracy Jo Wilson Ovarian Cancer Foundation was founded in 2003 after Tracy Jo Wilson was diagnosed with Stage 3-B Ovarian Cancer. Tracy Jo was shocked to know that ovarian cancer is frequently not diagnosed until late stages and she wanted others to be informed and educated to get early stage diagnosis.

Our Founding Directors were coached by Tracy Jo either in racewalking, weights, running, or general fitness and were passionate about making a difference in the lives of women to obtain early diagnosis of ovarian cancer. Shouting Out for Ovarian Cancer!

We are proud to have partnered with M. D. Anderson, Baylor Hospital, and U.T, Southwestern through several years of funding and assisting in "The Low Risk" study to determine a way to reliably diagnose ovarian cancer.
